Come see the Meteor Pilots go conga rock crazy at The Library in Soulard The Library in Soulard on Monday May 24th from 9:00-9:45PM! The evening of music will start at 8:00pm with the Switchfits followed by Sonic Candy, and John Carver after us. BIG BOOYAH thanks to everyone who could make it out for the last minute gig at Cruisin' RTE 66 opening for two other great bands on Friday night. We enjoyed playing for the crowd but more importantly we had fun outside of the rehearsal space!
Thanks also for all of your support following the cancellation of the 8/4 Hard Rock Cafe gig and look for us to reschedule ASAP. The official word from the Hard Rock team: "We had the VP of operations in today and he has bagged live entertainment. The company is working on new licenses and insurance for the Cafe it will [be] short term."

In other news, come check the Meteor Pilots at the St. Louis Hard Rock Cafe at Union Station on August 2nd. Guitar virtuoso Kevin Nacy will be opening at 10PM and MP will hit the stage at around 10:30. Tickets are $5 at the door ($8 for those younger than 21).

After a successful day in the studio on June 15th, the work now begins on creating the new MP demo. They have studio-quality drum tracks thanks to producer Chris Hughes and now begin the process of laying all of the instruments on top of Denny's masterful drumming. A big thanks to Denny for drumming through the back pain for the day and we all hope he gets better ASAP!
The Meteor Pilots are back with a new rhythm section - Denny on drums and Jeff on bass. They're headed for the studio on June 15th to record drum tracks (and maybe some bass) for a new demo. Pix and tracks coming soon...
